Season 1
1.Beast Wars (1) Nitpick: When Cheetor transforms, it sounds like he says "Cheater". Apparently, the actor had yet to learn to how to pronounce "Cheetor". Scorponok yells "Scorponok Terrorize" in an incorrect voice. When Cheetor gets attacked by Waspinator, the Maximals see the explosions in the distance...except the area where they see the explosions looks nothing like where Cheetor actually is. Throughout his entire existence in the series, Terrorsaur's name is pronounced more like Terrasaur (possibly meant to be Pterasaur). The opening sequence ends with a lion's roar, but a lion Transformer never appears in the series. But a lion transformer appeared in the toyline appropriately named "Prowl". He was part of a gestalt called Magnaboss, along with Silverbolt (an eagle) and Ironhide (an elephant). Shouldn't Cheetor have begun suffering from Energon buildup before the Predacons? He was in Robot Mode the longest. Waspinator uses eye-blasts like Dinobot does (though his are purple and Dinobot's are green; must be a Predacon thing) but this is the only time Waspinator does this in the entire series. (Terrorsaur also displays this power) "Did you mean to put this the Notes section?" - Editor

2. Beast Wars (2) I'm suprised Scorponok's missiles didn't cause that energon mountain to explode. In a shot when Dinobot is in robot mode, ready to battle Optimus Primal, he is missing the white stripes on his legs. On Rhinox's chestplate, there are sharp teeth. (I assume that the chest plate is his lower jaw.) The Rhinoceros doesn't have sharp teeth since it is an herbivore. Guess the animators and artists didn't notice since this goes on for the WHOLE SERIES. When the Maximals and Predacons square off at the Energon mountain, Megatron emits a loud roar. The roar doesn't sound like it was made by David Kaye; instead, it sounds like Scott McNeil, the actor who plays Dinobot. At one point, as Tarantulus and the Preds regard the duel between Optimus and Dinobot, Tarantulus' leg passes through his body. *Point out to the David Kaye/Scott Mcneil Goof* Maybe it was DinoBot who roared and not David Kaye.

3.The Web When Scorponok opens one of his claws, inside are missiles with the Maximal symbols on them. Scorponok's missiles: At the time, the animators had placed Maximal symbols on Scorponok's missiles as a homage to the classic westerns (i.e. "This bullet has your name on it"). After a few episodes, his missiles would carry the Predacon insignia, as the Maximal insignia confused many fans. Whenever the screen showing Cheator's vital signs is part of the background, the bars are always full. The mega-cannon doesn't seem to make an appearance in any future episode where the Maximals are near the Predacon base. Maybe the cannon wasn't functioning as well as Scorponok though it did.

4. Equal Measures In 'The Web' Cheetor says "From now on, this cat is a team player!" But in this episode, he acts almost the same way as he did in 'The Web'. Rhinox sounded like he said "Thanks Cheetah", instead of "Thanks Cheetor." Terrorsaur's voice seems to be squeakier in this episode. During the countdown, the voice that is heard is Elizabeth Carol Savenkoff's, the same voice used for the Predacon Computer. It was the Maximals who set up the bomb, so shouldn't it be the same voice who does the Maximal Computer instead (Ian James Corlett)? According to the energon map, one of the energon veins runs on the right side of the Maximal base. There can't be because there's no rock that side, just a very low river. Scorponok's optic sensor changes from red to yellow and back to red again, throughout this episode. When Cheetor first gets teleported to the predacon base, terrorsaur destroys it. Later, that same computer is fixed already, and they are using it several times. Actually, the computer gets destroyed twice. When we see a close-up of Scorponok's missle being shot at Cheetor in the vents, the logo on it is clearly the Maximal logo, even though he's a Predacon, and in the next episode it has the Predacon logo. Response to above goof: The animators early on put the Maximal symbols on his missiles, because in the old western movies they put their enemies' names on their bullets. Response to energon vein goof: It's possible that the energon vein goes under the river in a dip and then goes back up.

5.  Chain of Command The animators who rendered the first sequence were not aware of the budget restriction and rendered the scene with shadows. Most other scenes in the series do not have shadows. yeah....what does all that mean in English? It means that, the reason that the're very little use of shadows in the series is because the the animators who rendered the opening sequence, were not aware of the restrictions on shadows in terms of budgeting. If you still don't understand what I'm getting at I suggest you look on another Beast Wars website and find out for yourself. When Megatron and Waspinator were revived, Scorponok started talking like Waspinator.

6.  Power Surge Note the use of shadows as Cheetor runs to the Axalon. The use of shadows grows more and more scarce by this point, in the season. Cheetor says (after returning back to base): "Megatron scrape Terrorsaur!" It's supposed to be the other way around. About above: If you watch the scene carefully, you'll notice the whole time Cheetor's trying to report, he's overexcited and out of breath. He's probably trying to say "Megatron was scrapped by Terrorsaur", but is so wound up that his tongue can't keep up with his head! Some flames appear out of Terrorsaurs rockets before he takes off. They are so close to the energon that they should've set it off. You know how touchy Energon can be.

7.  Fallen Comrades During the bridge attack and the final scene at the pod, Waspinator is missing the stripes on his "butt". Cheetor's gun passes clear through his body in one scene.

8.  Double Jeopardy They forgot Tigatron in this episode. Cheetor and Rhinox say that the stasis pod crashed in an area that's a "deathtrap" with an "energon storm". When we see the area, there are no energon storms and Rattrap walks around in robot mode without any trouble. When I said 'stasis pod area', I meant to say 'Sector 12'. During the stasis pod fight between Optimus, Dinobot, Waspinator, Terrorsaur and Scorponok, Optimus aims at Waspinator while he was carrying the pod. It is a goof because in Feral Scream Part I (mainly starring Cheetor, Depth Charge and Dinobot II) Optmius mentions to Cheetor that he was putting the protoform (the one that becomes Dinobot II) at risk whilst aiming at Waspinator with his rifle. Not to mention that Cheetor was putting a BLANK protoform in danger while in this episode Optmius was putting a protoform WITH A SPARK in danger!!!! When Dinobot hits Scorponok with his green eye lasers, Scorponok makes a Tigatron-like noise. Scorponok talks like Waspinator when he mentions that Megatron is the Predacons true leader.

9.  A Better Mousetrap When Rattrap blew up the first disruptor bolts, three more came out and shot at him all while the stairwell was filling up with some blueish liquid. He managed to elude damage and swung into a chamber, but the liquid that was filling the stairwell didn't flow in to the chamber with him. So Tigertron and Airazor live in the woods as recon groups. So how do they recharge? Do they recharge automatically or what? Airazor hasn't even been born yet, her first appearance is 'The Spark'. "When Rattrap blew up the first disruptor bolts..." The blue "liquid" in the elevator shaft is not a liquid at all, but an energy field. Rattrap himself calls the field a "cryo-field". It looks like a liquid, but it is not. When playing the episodes in order on the DVD, it switches this episode and "The Probe" around. The same thing happened when Series 1 aired in the U.K. This episode and 'The Probe' switched places. The Sentinel defense system seems to include internal defenses that are never seen in the series again after this episode. Response to above goof: I noticed that too. The 'Shatter Field' would've come in handy, WHEN STARSCREAM AND THE OTHER PREDACONS WERE INVADING THE AXALON IN 'POSSESION'!!! Maximals and Predacons are animals. They recharge by eating. Why do you think Tarantulas eats so much?

10.  Gorilla Warfare Did somebody forget about Tigatron again? You get the feeling that Tigatron wishes he joined up with the Maximals about now. You mean the Predacons? No, I meant that Tigatron wished that he actually went with the Maximals to their base rather than hang out in the wild. Do all the Maximals and Predacons eat food? (Dinobot nods to this in a quote from above.) I'd think that robots would just need a recharge and a can of oil for squeeky joints. And why would a velociraptor, a carnivore, eat salad? I've seen Tarantulas eating a mouse one time. Response to Dinobot: Perhaps he was being sarcastic. About Dinobot: First off, he was being sarcastic. Second, the beast modes of the characters were meant to be more than just disguises for the heroes and villains. They were also meant to be functioning animals, which meant they can also process organic materials. This is not new in Transformers history: the Insecticons in the original series could eat both organic and nonorganic materials.

11.  The Probe When Dinobot fires his green laser eyes at Terrorsaur his eyes don't turn green like normal, instead he just shoots green laser beams through his red eyes. After 'slagging' Scorpinok, Rattrap and Dinobot share a 'thumbs-up' and smile. Is this a sign of their hidden friendship? It was quite untactical (is that a word?) for Rhinox to count on a single punch disarming Megatron. Apparantly Optimus and Dinobot are the only strategic minds on the team.

12.  Victory I know that Optimus is the strongest of the Maximals, but I'm not sure that he was able to slow down the Axalon from crashing into the river, by himself. It was just meant to be a funny, "Superman"-like scene Hmmm... ya think the Maximals would suspect something since their base didn't blow up when the darkside did? (THE ENERGON VINE RUNS UNDER BOTH BASES REMEMBER!! - equal measures)

13.  Dark Designs The Maximals again neglect to call in Tigatron for support. Guess being out in the wild gives you a low profile. When the Maximals go to the Predacon base, they somehow blow a whole in the wall, while they're in beast mode. About above: Remember, Rattrap is an expert in demolition. He could have set charges against the hull in robot mode, transformed to beast mode to protect himself against an energon surge, then remotely blown 'em when the signal is given. We see him remotely detonate charges in the later "Other Visits", and there's no indication he couldn't do so in beast mode.

14.  Double Dinobot Instead of having to leave the base guarded by the Dinobot Clone, Optimus could've sent Tigatron along with Cheetor and Rhinox to save Rattrap. That's just another example of the Maximals (or the writers) forgetting they have more than five members. If the G1 Megatron managed to get some of Optimus Prime's DNA so he could create a clone of Optimus Prime, that could actually transform then why couldn't this Megatron do the same? G1 Megatron cloned Optimus Prime through mechnical means; there was no DNA involved at all. Dinobot's clone is probably mostly organic, meaning his has only enough mechanical equipment so that that the clone doesn't act in an animal way. We're never told how far the Maximals and Predacons advanced from their ancestors, but even the newest technology can have some bugs in it. Dinobot refers to the Predacon foundry as the "Inferno," when he says "By the Inferno, I am bored!" But "the Inferno" was re-named "the Pit" in Spider's Game. At this point, Spider's Game had yet to air, so Inferno had not been introduced.

15.  The Spark The Predacon Computer says that the pod will crash land in Grid Scavos, yet when Cheetor reports to Tigatron about a Stasis Pod, he says it's heading for Grid Vaga, what's with THAT!!! Maximals and Predicons use a different griding system, Starting from their respective bases. Dinobot does not appear at all during the entire episode. Maybe he wasn't needed. Rhinox and Cheetor got most of the screen time in this episode. Interestingly, Dinobot rarely appears in the same episode as Airazor, and when he does, rarely in the same scene. Fans have speculated that this is because Dinobot doesn't understand female warriors - unless they're trying to kill him! In reference to the computer problem above, the Predicon computer actually says the path is erratic and impossible to computer exact coordinates. Megatron then asks for the best guess.

16.  The Trigger (1) In a clip of the next episode, when the maximals are evacuating their base, Optimus warns them as if he was their with them, but in the next episode he speaks to them over his conlink. It is established that anyone who uses energy weapons while on the island gets blasted by the obelisk, however in Terrorsaur's flashback Tigatron does not get blasted by the obelisk even though Tigatron fired first. Response to the clips of the next episode: It isn't always accurate. Some things will be left out or placed in other scenes so as to not spoil what happens in the next part. Probably why they didn't add the next time clips in seasons 2 and 3.

17.  The Trigger (2) In the last episode, they show us some clips in this episode, a couple of things don't match: 1)In the clips, Tigatron and Airazor turn around to see a boulder right them Airazor makes a shocked noise but in this episode she doesn't make a noise at all. 2)In the clips, Tigatron says 'The Predacons have almost reach the Obelix. We must stops them!' in a high pitched voice but in this episode he says that sentence in a low tone. In the first part, when Tigatron says '...the Predacons will be able to destroy the Maximal base.' Rattrap and Cheetor shout 'WHAT?' to each other, whereas during the recap at the beggining of this episode, when Tigatron says that same sentence, Cheetor and Optimus look at each other and Rattrap pulls a puzzled face. Clips of the "Last time on..." aren't always accurate. They usually get altered so that people don't just say 'ok, all we have to do is watch pt 2 and everything will be alright' it's called advertising through shows... well it's what I call it anyway.

18.  Spider's Game Why is Inferno's programming so faulty when his stasis pod is one of the most undamaged when it falls out of space? Black Arachnia seems to have survived the destruction of the flying island in the last episode, as she appears alive and well in this episode. Response to above goof: What about Waspinator after EVERY episode? Inferno's programming might be faulty because his Predacon chip might have been damaged. Remember, Tarantulas switchs the Maximal chip out for a Predacon one. He probably wanted a Pred that would be loyal to him, hence he tampered with it. However, the ant mound got ingrained into Inferno. Combined with the obedience ingrained into the chip, he became a fanatic. In most cases damaged Transformers can be repaired in a CR chamber (sometimes called an R Chamber) or CR Tank. Predacons have the tanks, Maximals the chambers. However, if whatever device is being used to contain the spark is damaged or loses power and the spark is "lost", the Transformer is dead.

19.  Call of the Wild Gorillas do not actually swing from vines as seen in Optimus Primal's dream. If the base was no longer energon shielded, it makes no sense for Tigatron and Airazor not to be affected. About Airazor and Tigatron: At the time the other Maximals experienced an energon overload, Airazor had been placed in the CR Chamber, which has been shown to be immune from every other phenomena that the Axalon experiences. She's seen coming out of the chamber when she's talking to Tigatron. Tigatron spends most of his time in beast mode anyway, and may have arrived at the base that way, giving him plenty of time to find out the situation for himself. He may not have been in robot form long enough to experience an overload. Did Megatron even think to check that all of the Maximals' beast modes had taken over? He forgot about Tigatron and Airazor. I thought that the booby trap Megatron set up, while Airazor was about to take the rectifier-coil, was a bit naff. Surely he could've put in a lot more guns than just one. In 'Spider's Game', Tigatron was shot by Tarantulas, Megatron and Inferno-a lot, yet his injury only tooks a few hours to repair. Whereas Airazor only got shot by Terrorsaur a few times and her injury takes two days to repair. NOW THAT'S INTERESTING! In "Spider's Game", we're never told how long Tigatron's repairs took. It could have been several days since he was damaged. How is it Dinobot was affected? He's a Predacon, and this episode clues us in that Predacon and Maximal programming is not the same. Considering Dinobot never really considered himself a Maximal, despite his transformation code, it's unlikly he'd allow himself to take on any additional programming. About Megatron: It's likely that Megatron's arrogance allowed him to loose sight of the fact that Airazor and Tigatron were not with the others. Even if he did realize that they weren't affected, it's likely he believed he could deal with them at a later date. As for his "booby trap", it's probably another example of Megatron's arrogance - though Airazor does seem to get into the heart of the Predacon ship a little too easily. About Tigatron's Repairs: You maybe right about the fact that Tigatron's repairs took several days to repair but after that scene we see Tarantulas and Black Arachnia talking about Megatron going to scrap them for their betrayal. They still wouldn't be going on about that after several days. About BA and Tarantulas: They might be, if they were still trying to hide from him.

20.  Dark Voyage How could Rhinox and the others survive the destruction of the massive energon? By all rights their systems should be damaged but they should've been knocked out for at least more than five minutes. How could Dinobot's eye lasers work if all of the maximals' systems were damaged. How does anybody's weapon still work? Megatron neglects letting Inferno help Terrorsaur and Waspinator with their search. Where did Scorponok go, after he told Waspinator to follow the energon trail. After Terrorsaur and Waspinator fly over the Maximals in the river, before they attack, Waspinator is missing the antennae on his beast head.

21.  Possession Unicron's ring seems to be a lot farther from the planet section than in G1. Tarantulas mentions that all the Predacons are at the Maximal base, leaving their own defensless. What about Inferno? He's nowhere to be seen in this episode. I know they were in a hurry, but surely one of the Maximals could have remembered to turned Sentinel on. It was never mentioned that Sentinel was offline. Having Sentinel active would have no doubt caused trouble for the Predacons, and if someone remembered to activate it in the first place, the Maximals might not have needed to abandon the Axalon. Airazor says "Guess who's in charge?" as if she knew Starscream had possessed Waspinator. She only saw the Maximals flee the base. It's possible Airazor was appraised of the situation later. Blackarachnia mentions that Starscream was blasted after he betrayed Galvatron. In reality, Starscream betrayed Megetron, the G1 Megatron, and was blasted by the refomated Megatron, now known as Galvatron, and didn't know they were the same Bot. If Beast Wars takes place on Earth's past, after both the Ark and the Nemesis crashed how is Starscream's ghost around to cause trouble. Shouldn't his body be on board the Ark with the rest of the G1s? Response to Starscream's Spark: Starscream explained that his Spark was beyond the reach of "time and space itself". This meant that he could travel through space and time, allowing him to join the Beast Wars. That means there are TWO Starscream sparks in on world. Actually, Starscream figured out that Galvatron was G1 Megatron right before being blasted. In the third season opener, "Optimal Situation", it was established that having two sparks in one body causes the body to change into a combo of the host's body and the other spark's body. So, why didn't Waspinator become part Starscream when Starscream's spark entered the body? If you look carefully when the lightning flashes, Starscream's feet are the wrong colour, they are dark blue on the inner part and white on the outter part, but Starscream's G1 body had a white inner part and light blue on the outside. In the G1 Episode "Ghost in the Machine" Unicron gave Starscream a new body so he was no longer a ghost. In all episodes following, Starscream should have still been alive. Ok, although I've only seen the G1 series for the first time recently, I'll explain the whole 'Ghost in the Machine' and Beast Wars thing: In the movie, Galvatron blasted Starscream. After that, Starscream went through the transwarp portal into the Beast Wars era and possessed Waspinator, at the end of the episode, he left the Beast Era while swearing revenge against everyone (even if it took a thousand years) and came back to the G1 era in the episode Starscream's Ghost, making it possible for him to obtain a new body (strangly looking exactly like his old one) in Ghost in the Machine. Hope that clears it up.

22.  The Low Road Tarantulas calls Rattrap and Dinobot 'Minimals' instead of 'Maximals'. About "Minimals": Tarantulas was making fun of the Maximals. Why was Airazor crouching next to Optimus. After Rhinox does this massive energon fart, Tarantulas's lab has stones and metal caving in and the Maximals return to base while Rattrap finds the counter-virus. He finds it under a metal block or a stone and it is not damaged at all, not even a scratch. The block or stone should've crushed it. About Airazor: This episode makes fun of a lot of things both inside and outside the Transformers continuum. Most likely Airazor's crouching next to Optimus is making fun of old sci-fi movie posters (and possibly romance novel covers) in which the heroine is crouched next the hero's leg, in the same position Airazor was with Optimus. Airazor's position has also been attributed to mimicking the poster for Star Wars: A New Hope. She is taking the position of Princess Organa, and Optimus is Luke.

23.  Law of the Jungle Optimus commands Cheetor to contact Rhinox and see if he could have some back up, so er... where's the back up later in the episode? Where's Airazor, Rattrap or Rhinox?

24.  Before the Storm When Tigatron says 'Then permit me to charge its memory.' You can't hear him says 'its'. Right before Inferno pulls the golden disc from the stone, it is missing a symbol, making the total four.

25.  Other Voices (1) Is it just me or did the Head that talked with Optimus ever give its name? Cause Optimus says "Unicron...." and something else, cause it sure looked like Unicron. Does anybody think that Unicron being part of "The Project" strike you as a bit weird? RESPONSE: The alien race merely assumed Unicron's form (which they learned about from scanning Optimus) to appear as a figure of authority. They have no true physical form.

26.  Other Voices (2) Tarantulas's voice seems to be very squeaky in this ep, it's like he's got a cold. Infact he sounds like Shrapnel, from the original series. Except at the end, when he's in Black Arachnia's mind. I noticed this for Other Voices part one... Is it just me or did the Head that talked with Optimus ever give its name? Cause Optimus says "Unicron...." and something else, cause it sure looked like Unicron. Does anybody think that Unicron being part of The Project strike you as a bit weird? Okay here's something else. Why does Optimus put his mask thingy on over his mouth as he's going into space...he ain't human so it's not like he'd die or anything Better yet, why doesn't he just fly straight through that beam and blow it up? Optimus' mouth-mask is to A: Match the toy. B: Look like G1 Prime. Response: In the episode Other Voices (1), the alien scanned Optimus' memory and used his memory of Unicron as an image for the alien does not have any physical form. Response: Optimus Primal occasionally would put on his "mask" or Optimus Prime's look-alike mask, when he is in the air, although this is not all the time. Unlike the Autobots and Decepticons, the Maximals and Predacons need oxygen to survive, hence why in Season 3 episode 'Deep Metal' Cheetor can't operate under water.

Season 2
27.  Aftermath How did Tigatron's and Airazor's knocked-out bodies disappear after they'd been shot by Megatron? Scorponok's and Terrorsaur's deaths are never really acknowledged beyond Blackarachnia noticing they are not with Megatron in this episode. Many were left confused about what had happened to them. Some fans may have an idea where Terrorsaur went-as, during part of the opening sequence for Season 2 features a clip of Terrorsaur's hand sinking into the lava. As for Scorponok, the fans may have belived that he became Quickstrike due to similar beast forms. These are just thoughts though. There is a shot in the episode showing both Terrorsaur and Scorponok falling into the lava, but it's one of those blink-and-you'll-miss-it moments. As to why Terrorsaur died in the lava, whereas Megatron survived in Season Three's "Master Blaster", it may be because at this point Terrorsaur is in his original form, whereas by the time "MB" rolled around, Megatron was in his (much tougher) Transmetal incarnation. Quickstrike is an entirely seperate entity from Scorponok. His body is a protoform from a stasis pod that fell out of orbit at the end of Season One. Don't you think that the glow that surrounded Scorponok's and Terrorsaur's bodies should've actually sheilded them from the lava? One fan theory once suggested this.

28.  Coming of the Fuzors (1) Both Silverbolt and Quickstrike are supposed to be maximals to begin with (before Megatron gets ahold of them). But all the previous maximal beast forms (Dinobot excluded, for obvious reason) have been mammals or birds, while insects, arachnids and reptiles have all been the primary Predacon forms. But Quickstrike is a combination of a scorpion and a rattlesnake. Since Predacon programming was never added to the pod (as it was with Inferno and Blackarachnia), why did the scanner select animals primarily affiliated with the Predacons? In 'Spiders Game' Inferno's pod scans some fire ants before he was reprogrammed as a Predacon. The pods just scan whatever creature that occurs in that particular habitat it lands in. If it lands in the wasteland (like this episode) it's likely to scan an iguana. If it's near the sea it's likely to be a shark. No matter what beast the pod scans, the transformer will be a Maximal (unless the Predacons reach the pod first). By the way, contrary to popular belief, Silverbolt and Quickstrike weren't Maximals to start. A few episodes ago, right before the aliens start wasting Earth, they wipe the programming of all of the stasis pods. At no point is it said that the stasis pod memories were wiped; the alien activity simply destabilized the pods' orbits and caused them to crash. The pods of Silverbolt and Quickstrike were just very badly damaged, and their programming scrambled and/or irrecoverable.

29.  Coming of the Fuzors (2) Why is it that Silverbolt actually hangs out with the Maximals, whereas Tigatron and Airazor always went off in the wild? Silverbolt's pod was just as much damaged as Tigatron's and Airazor's. About above: Probably personality differences. At the begining of the episode it clearly shows Trantulas and Waspinator firing upon the Maximals. After the explosion knocks Dinobot, Cheetor, and Rattrap over the boulder; Waspinator and Trantulas arrive as backup. Near the end of the episode, DinoBot got hit in the "coils" by one of the Predacon's ammo. Now how could a robot feel pain there if they're not human? That was meant to be a joke of some sort.

30.  Tangled Web In one part of the scene where Black Arachnia, Quickstrike and Tarantulas are loading some cargo, Tarantulas is missing the green dots on his chest. Black Arachnia was able to load up a very heavy box. How could she do that when her tech specs, on the transformers website, say her strength is 5 out of 10. The toys are not the chracters. Waspinator was based off the Terminator. Don't see that in the show, do you?

31.  Maximal, No More If there was a jamming station nearby, then how could Silverbolt communicate with Dinobot. How does Inferno know that Dinobot is a traitor? Well presumably Megatron told him, you know that Inferno is a suck-up to Megatron.

32.  Other Visits (1) Tigatron and Airazor should've been looking for stasis pods but instead they're looking for plant life. You've got to admit that taking Tigatron and Airazor off in this episode wasn't exactly the best idea, it would only go back to the original crew again, but with Silverbolt in it. Tigatron and Airazor helped the Maximals through the 'Beast Wars' a lot. Tigatron helped the Maximal find the program blockage in their circuits in 'Call Of The Wild', both tried to keep Black Arachnia and Scorponok away from the Obelix in both parts of 'The Trigger' and Tigatron discorved what the alien disc's message was in 'Before The Storm'. Tigatron and Airazor shouldn't have been put off by plant life. Well if you think about it, that makes sense that the alien plants would take them. The aliens have been trying to rid the experiment of the Maximals and Predacons, and although those two care most for the planet, in protecting everyone from the obelisk, they thwarted the aliens' task of purifying the experiment, and the fact that Tigatron was able to forewarn the Maximals of the destruction of the planet, further aided in thwarting their plans. It is possible the aliens felt by getting rid of Tigatron and Airrazor, they would be able to destroy the rest of the Maximals and Predacons. Inferno refers to himself as "I" in this episode. Inferno never does that, because he thinks that he is a drone, and never specifically refers to himself. He also uses I in Maximal no more.

33.  Other Visits (2) Tarantulas claims that if the Transmetals weren't altered by the quantum surge, Megatron's so called friends would have them all in stasis lock. If Predacons were really concerned for one another Megatron would have said, 'You're forgetting that Scorponok and Terrorsaur would still be alive and the powerful Quickstrike wouldn't have been born.' About the above: Tarantulas probably only mentioned it out of concern for himself. Is anyone else wondering what the function of the "Metalhunter" was?

34.  Bad Spark After Silverbolt does his little speech about Black Arachnia after she leaves, in the next shot, when he transforms to beast mode, he has amazingly changed from being damaged to being nice and shiny. Optimus claims that Starscream was indestructible. However, in the Transformers movie, Starscream proved quite destructible when Galvatron obliterated him. What Galvatron destroyed was Starscream's superstructure, his material form. Starscream's SPARK, however, was indestructible--Optimus even specifically references, in the quote you refer to, his "mutant indestructable spark". In the G1 Cartoon, also, Starscream reappeared on occasion as a "ghost" (which Beast Wars rationalized as an indestructable spark)

35.  Code of Hero During Dinobot's funeral, Rattrap appears in his pre-Transmetal form. Dinobot shatters the Golden Disk, yet in The Agenda season finale, Megatron has a fragment of it. When did Megatron get that fragment? Also, the fragment Megatron had is much larger than any of the shattered remains seen around Dinobot's body. The fragments of the golden disk dissappear, when the Maximals gather round Dinobot's body. When Dinobot leaves the Axalon, he cocks his gun.He does not fire it.Then after hearing Cheetor's distress call he cocks it again. What's up with that?? When Dinobot has his hand around Tarantulus, Tarantulus's little green spots on his head are there normal green color, then they become yellow.

36.  Transmutate Rampage calls Transmutate by her name before he comes up with it in the next scene. Alec Willows who provides the voice of Tarantulas was listed in the Voice Actor list, yet he didn't appear in this episode. Rampage thought of the name, so why shouldn't he call Transmutate that? Who knows, maybe he was acting like he just thought the name up? When Transmutate tries to go to beast mode, something pops off of its neck. That same part re-appears shortly afterwards.

37.  The Agenda (1) The Tripredacus Council states that the Axalon vanished "last Mega-Cycle." On the Cybertronian calender, a Mega-Cycle equals only one hour. The Beast Wars have most certainly been going on for longer than that! Response to above: The beast wars are hapening millions of years in the past, the transwarp wave just happened to get there an hour after they left to the past, it could of just as easily have arrived an hour before they went missing. The Council also mentions that the Predacons paid the price in "diplomatic repercussions". It seems unlikely that such repercussions would be incurred in "a mega-cycle".

38.  The Agenda (2) Waspinator was clearly smashed into small pieces by Black Arachnia's stasis pod ship so how could he have repaired himself in 'Optimal Situation'. Response: Waspinator was smashed by Blackarachnia's pod, but not into such minute pieces that he couldn't put himself back together. Additonal Response: In fact, you see him pulling himself together. Besides, he's gone through worse and come back out, you think that a little hit (comparative to others) like that will stop him for long? According to the section with the Guest Voices, it was mentioned that Gary Chalk was the voice of the Original Megatron in this episode. That is not true. Blu Mankuma appeared in this episode as the Original Megatron. Proof of this is at http://www.ntfa.net/ntfa/bw/castlist.php

39.  The Agenda (3) The Ark is backwards. The Ark engines are supposed to be out of the mountain with the entrance under them. During the scene when the Maximals are chasing Megs, Optimus' lower arm isn't attached to the rest of him. Megatron appears to be as small as Optimus Prime's entire head. Not even Spike (in the original series) was that small. Sure, the Beast Wars Transformers are smaller than the "archaic energon guzzlers"...but that's a bit too much. The Ark is backwards: At this point in the series, the Ark is literally buried in the volcano, with nothing sticking out. It's not until Nemesis, Part 2 that any portion of the Ark is exposed. What you guys complaining about the ark don't realize is that it's sitting in an active volcano, and could possibly shift around within the next 4 MILLLION YEARS! Granted it is possible the Arc could have shifted but it is unlikely that it would have done a 360 since it had to enter the mountain with the engines in the back then flip around for Beast Wars then flip around again for G1. That and it was set into the mountain, even earthquakes will not make a ship rotate through solid rock. Optimus Prime is sitting in his seat while in the First Episode of Transformers "More than Meets the Eye Part One" Optimus Prime is put in statis holding on to a lever trying to steer the Ark. Although I see why he was sitting because it was more dramatic. For that matter, Megatron passes Soundwave and Starscream but no Autobots?! Where are all the other Autobots? They should be crowding the area. You can see some Autobots in the background at their stations as Megatron ascends to face Optimus Prime. (Obviously, for purposes of money and time, they couldn't animate ALL the original characters) Even though Optimus Prime was in the chair, he could have been moved by the shuttle taking off. The Predacons and Maximals are, in fact, much, MUCH smaller than their ancestors. Consider: Many Autobots were able to transform into life-size cars and trucks without shrinking. Cheetor and Tigatron, who are fair representatives of average Beast Wars TF size, transform into a life-size cheetah and tiger, respectively (both are seen among other natural examples of the actual animals they transform into for confirmation that their alt forms are in fact life-size). Even from these two examples one can see that the two generations of Transformers must use vastly different scales. Response to the size comment: Technically they're still not that size. The Beast Wars writers overexaggered that part, thus giving birth to the rather annoying "The G1 characters can easily step on the BW characters and win against them" comments. -_-

Season 3
40.  Optimal Situation How the heck did Inferno survive the blast in "The Agenda (2)"? His last scene in that episode showed him turning into teeny tiny little metal fragments! Black Arachnia got off very lightly in this episode. She managed to join the Maximals without any complaints from Optimus, even though she almost destroyed the Axalon and the Maximals with that flying island back in 'The Trigger' Part 2. I have to admit, it is odd he survives. But, look at Waspinator! I mean, the dude has been blown up into smaller pieces then scrap metal, and he survived. I think sometimes the creators have been watching too many Loony Tunes. Has anyone realized that Rampage, Quickstrike, and Inferno are all maximal protoforms? And, why weren't they in flux as well? Kinda makes you wonder.... That would mean that Inferno and Quickstrike would have to realize that they're on the wrong side! Rampage wouldn't care obviously. Why do you think that Blackarachnia switched sides? She knew she was wrong. In one scene where Megatron and Inferno are flying away, Inferno is nice and shiny while a moment before, he was all jacked up. When Optimus flies by to cut the ropes/cables that the arachnoids and Rampage are pulling, shouldn't the arachnoids be dragged along while the only cable that snaps be Rampage's? And, why did Optimus just catch the damn missile? He seems to be weaker as Optimal Optimus than Optimus Primal. "Has anyone realized that Rampage, Quickstrike, and Inferno are all maximal protoforms?" About this goof: While it is true that Inferno, Quickstrike, and Rampage have Maximal parts, one also has to remember the personalities and positions of each. Inferno is blindly loyal to Megatron, Quickstrike is completely nuts, and Rampage, whatever misgivings he has, has no option but to assist Megatron, so long as Megatron has a fragment of Rampage's spark. Also, Waspinator, while fed up with Megatron and with how his loyalty has never been repaid, is still scared of the renegade Predacon general. Most importantly Rampage IS a Maximal Protoform, made insane by an experiment. Inferno is too stupid to know that he would have been dying because of Megatron nor would he care if he did know. And, Quickstrike was knocked out - How would he know? Rampage was also knocked out, infact worse than Quickstrike. So how would he know? This whole business with the Axalon could've been prevented if someone had remembered to turn Sentinel on in the last episode. If the Axalon did stay put, then how would Optimus fit inside it. Looking at him, compared with the other Maximals, he is huge. When the original Megatron is seen, he is the way he was in the beginning of the original series, but he really should, be with his 2nd look, Galvatron because he changes, in Transformers: The Movie. No he shouldn't. This war takes place approximately over 4,000,000 years before the Autobots and Decepticons come back online. 20 years later after that period, or sometime around that, Megatron got upgraded to Galvatron by Unicron. So them animating G1 Megatron instead of Galvatron was correct. If that were the case, then almost all the other Autobots and Decepticons would be dead, except for Jazz, Cliffjumper, Bumblebee and Soundwave. Thundercracker and Skywarp would be Scourge and Cyclonus. Plus, Hot Rod, Kup and the newer G1 characters would be aboard too. TO ABOVE: The incident in this episode happened before Megatron was reformatted. Response Per "Looney Tunes": It's the Looney Tunes elements in the program that make it funnier than normal, so don't try and take the humour out of it again, O.K.?

41.  Deep Metal Depth Charge's number of fingers appear to shift (between 4 and 5) in various scenes. Sometimes Depth Charge's fingers are as few as three in some scenes.

42.  Changing of the Guard When Optimus comes up with the idea that the Maximals should salvage sentinal, Rattrap says that the Axalon's in small pieces and underwater. Then Optimus suggests that they would need Depth Charge's help. WHY? How would Depth Charge know what to look for? He was never aboard the Axalon. He suggests Depth Charge because he's a manta ray. They live under water. Sometimes I wonder about you people, leaving me to clean up your messes. Then I'd like to see you clean up this: Rampage cracks part of the glass window in the vessel, causing a leak. A few seconds later the leak is gone. THAT is a goof. I know about manta rays and where they live, it's just since Depth Charge was never aboard the Axalon, he wouldn't know what to look for, yet Optimus acts if he does. Mabey the Axalon was a standard exploration craft and depthchare knew his way around them. They would probably keep their Sentinal equipment in the same area. Sentinal isn't standard on Maximal ships. Rhinox created it in "A Better Mousetrap". Still, his underwater capabilities would make him useful for the mission even if he doesn't quite know what he's looking for. Rattrap mentions the Axalon sank in a "lake", yet several of the animals seen underwater (starfish, moray eel) are animals only found in the ocean. It can't be a saltwater lake, as landlocked saltwater bodies (like the Salt Lake in Utah or the Dead Sea in the Middle East) are too saturated with salt to support much life. Response to ocean vs. lake: A little too much thought on this one, my friend. - powerpole Rattrap's chest decals are reversed in one scene - the orange "speaker" is on his right. The thing about the lake is that the Beast Wars took place over 4 million years ago, the land mass still had time to change between then and now.

43.  Cutting Edge Why is it that Cheetor now fancies Black Arachnia despite the fight they had in 'The Spark'? Maybe the kicks knocked some of the bad sides he had of her out of his head. Maybe the story writers were doing this to show what teenage boys can be like. "The Spark" was two seasons ago. A lot has happened since then. Blackarachnia is now a good guy, for one thing.

44.  Feral Scream (1) At one point, Depth Charge's wing or fins are facing in an incorrect position in robot mode. Is any one interested in where Megatron got the alien device from? Did Megatron claim it from Other Visits in an unseen scene, was it claimed by him in an unseen episode, where, where, WHERE???? RESPONSE: Most fans assume that Megatron found the Driver Unit within the MetalHunter craft back in Season 2. If you look closely at some of the scenes with Transmetal 2 Cheetor in beast mode, you can see that his jet pack is missing. Animation Error: Megatron's thumb goes through his shoulder plate when he holds the core of Rampage's Spark. When Dinobot II shoots off his own finger with his laser sight, in the next scene, it is back.

45.  Feral Scream (2) In "Feral Scream (1)", the scratches on Megatron's chest are on his right side. In this episode, the scratches have magically moved to his left. We also don't see these "scars" in later episodes. Ever heard of a CR Tank? Megatron surely repaired his armor after this episode. Transformers don't get scars.

46.  Proving Grounds Black Arachnia goes form being damaged to undamaged in certain shots.

47.  Go with the Flow When the disruptor ray go off, Depth Charge's wings are seen bent and damaged, but in another shot, they are straight. A much better fill-in plot would've been the return of Tigatron and Airazor. Wouldn't work, seein' as how Tigerhawk's spark is the combination of their two entities in "Other Victories" I meant the return of Tigatron and Airazor AS TIGERHAWK, in other words, Other Victories should've been the episode after 'Provings Grounds'. It would've given Tigerhawk a better chance to become an actual character, rather than just a chunky-winged tiger who makes guest appearances. That also wouldn't have worked since they most likely wanted the Pred base, Tarantulas arould for a little while longer. Also Megatron was not in dragon form yet.

48.  Crossing the Rubicon Blackarachnia is damaged when she is being brought back to the base. She's fine when she's being scanned by Rhinox, but she's damaged again when she's outside. How could all of the Predacons (except Rampage because he wasn't there, strangely) have survived the destruction of that massive weapon in 'Go With The Flow'. Tarantulas does not make a sound when he transforms into robot mode. Like Depth Charge, Optimus uses 'MAXAMIZE' to transform into his flight mode. Speaking of Depth Charge, WHERE IS HE??? He could've helped the Maximals. Why didn't Optimus contact him. I know Optimus doesn't like Depth Charge that much but still...

49.  Master Blaster Megatron appears to be a lot bigger than Megatron's head but in 'The Agenda Part 3' Megatron appeared to be smaller than Optimus Prime's head.

50.  Other Victories (aka Closure) NITPICK: Airrazor's beast mode was a falcon, yet the new Maximal hybrid is referred to as TigerHAWK. Just a minor detail. If Tigerhawk contains the combined sparks of Tigatron and Airazor, wouldn't the voice of Tigerhawk be Tigatron's and Airazor's voices combined. About NITPICK: Falcons are actually classified as a subgroup of hawks. It's nice to see Tigatron and Airazor return. Shouldn't Tigerhawk be shocked, due to the fact that Optimus has returned? If you recall back in 'Coming Of The Fuzors Part 1' Tigatron and Airazor went out looking for stasis pods and never saw Optimus in between that episode and 'Other Visits Part 1', yet he isn't the least bit suprised when he sees Optimus after the sparks of Tigatron and Airazor had entered the body of Tigerhawk. It's possible, however, that one of the Maximals could've communicated with them in an unseen episode and said that Optimus has been revived (and that the maximal Silverbolt has joined the team). Did somebody forget Depth Charge again?

51.  Nemesis (1) When Optimus is reading the bible of Primus or whatever, in the background you can see a Transmetal Black Arachnia and Cheetor in his first transmetal form, carrying some kind of big box. However Cheetor turned into a 'Transmetal 2' in Feral Scream Part 2. In one shot, Megatron's face is purple instead of grey. Megatron and Optimus both say that the Nemesis shot down the Ark, as a matter of fact, they're BOTH wrong! As Prowl explained in the original TF series in ep 1, it as G-Forces which dragged both ships out of control, causing them to crashland on Earth. There was the famous tractor beam which made a magnetic conjunction bewtween the to ships, yet during the flashback, the Nemesis is shooting down the Ark. There was no shooting at all. The continuity of Beast Wars does not follow that of the original series completely. Elements of the comics were thrown in as well. In fact, Beast Wars was never intentionally meant as a sequel to the G1 series, it just fell into place that way. At one point, Cheetor is seen flying with Tigerhawk and Blackarachnia. However, Cheetor lost the ability to fly when when he became a Transmetal 2. Optimus, Cheetor, Blackarachnia, and Tigerhawk are all shown leaving the base together, yet Optimus somehow pulls far ahead of the group to meet up with Depth Charge and Silverbolt in the next scene. If anything, Tigerhawk should have been able to keep up. Depth Charge is the closest Maximal to the booby trap than Optimus or Silverbolt - yet it's Silverbolt who takes the most damage. Neither Depth Charge nor Optimus have so much as a scratch on them. When Optimus says 'Depth Charge has paid the ultimate price', Depth Charge's 'fin' floats to the surface despite it being made of metal. The same thing goes for every part of Depth Charge and Rampage that floats to the surface. About Cheetor flying: He never really lost his abillity to fly. You see him hovering in Feral Scream and there was no other reason for him to fly before this. It's possible that the Maximals and Predacons were misinformed by the Autobots and Decepticons...I mean, which sounds better: "We tried to fight them off, but were shot down" or "Uh, we were kinda busy and forgot about steering the ship and crashed. Heh. Sorry about that." Depth Charge and Optimal Optimus are both full-fledged Transmetals, whereas the Fuzors are only partially so. Transmetals have been stated to be much tougher than normal Transformers. Response to the above goof: Although they don't get energon surges, OPTIMALS ARE NOT TRANSMETALS!!! They have about 4 transformations while transmetals only have 3!!!

52.  Nemesis (2) The Ark is backwards. The Ark engines are supposed to be out of the mountain with the entrance under them. RESPONSE: Presumably, the Ark's engines were shifted after 4 million years of seismic activity.
